Gary Glushon
Film Consultant
Gary is a veteran film, television and media executive who currently runs development for the multihyphenate Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor’s production company, Bach Enterprises. Glushon recently produced the feature film The Gates starring Mason Gooding and James Van Der Beek for Lionsgate Entertainment and served as an executive producer on the independent feature film Suburban Psycho starring Ron Perlman and Malin Akerman. Glushon also produces the “King Bach’s Court: A Royalty Podcast” and is in development of the graphic novel Shogun Run created by King Bach and Damon Wayans Jr.
Prior to Bach Enterprises, Glushon served as the Executive Vice President of F. Gary Gray’s Fenix Studios where he oversaw development and production of the feature film and television slate. Fenix Studios’ projects Glushon developed include the feature film MASK based on the Hasbro property as well as feature adaptation of the popular video game franchise Saint’s Row.
Prior to Fenix Studios, Glushon served as Executive Vice President of Production and Development for Fundamental Films, a China-based film financier, distribution, and production company. Gary executive produced the feature film 24 Hours to Live starring Ethan Hawke and oversaw development of the Keanu Reeves-starrer Replicas.
Glushon also served as Vice President of Creative Affairs at Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment for ten years where he was the executive on a number of feature films including The Karate Kid, Seven Pounds, This Means War, The Secret Life of Bees, Hancock, I Am Legend, ATL and The Pursuit of Happyness.
He received his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University while working at Overbrook Entertainment and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he double-majored in journalism and legal studies.
